European Championships 2026 - Birmingham & Wednesfield
The 16th bi-annual ICSF European Cycle Speedway Championships will take place in England on the weekend of 31 July to 2 August. The Birmingham and Wednesfield clubs will jointly host the Championships, in the 80th anniversary year of cycle speedway in the UK.
For the first time ever, five nations (England, Ireland, Poland, Scotland, Wales) will participate in each of the four categories (Open, Women, Veteran, Junior) at the Nations Cups. The Individual Championships have also attracted a healthy entry (181 entries from 153 riders) with qualifiers required for each of the four categories. In total, 30 matches will be staged over the three days.
